What is an Entity

In the Backflipt platform, an entity is a collection of related operations grouped under a single name. It provides a modular way of organizing and structuring operations within a workflow.

Entities are like reusable building blocks, each with a specific purpose. When building a workflow, an entity can be used to execute a specific group of operations, without having to define each operation separately.

For example, if you need to perform a set of operations on a list of items, you can use the List Helper entity in your workflow. This entity allows you to execute operations such as adding items to the existing list and counting the number of items on the list.
